Your kids kids kids...think about that for a minute. What are you doing right now for your kids kids kids? When thinking about the future, those that are coming behind you should be in the forefront of your mind...as they are carrying your legacy ya know. As Dame Dash says, hustle for your last name, not your first.
Setting and reaching individual education and financial goals can impact generational improvement, bettering the family's namesake for years to come. Believe it or not it starts with you. Yes, YOU. Ask yourself these questions: What am I doing to help the generations coming behind me? How can I inspire them to be better than me? What experiences can I share with them to give them the "heads up" on some real life shit?
As Whitney Houston sang so beautifully, I believe the children are our future...Teach them well and let them lead the way...Show them all the beauty they possess inside...Give them a sense of pride to make it easier...Let the children's laughter remind us how we used to be...Everybody searching for a hero...People need someone to look up to...
As a 20+ year experienced educator in middle, high, alternative, residential and collegiate educational level teaching, I have encountered kids that really and truly only want 1 thing: ATTENTION. If you don't offer it, something or someone else well. So as you already know, I'm bossy so I have set Our, We The People, New Year's Resolution for 2017: Let's intentionally create generational improvement. We should want to see those coming behind us do better, be better, and surpass our wildest dreams. Be bossy or become bossy my friends.
